Follower of Jesus, husband to Rebekah, father to Owen and Gianna, and a PhD student in the Department of Theology and Religion at the University of Exeter.
I was born in Nottingham, England, but my family moved to Perth, Australia in 1988 when I was eight years old. I moved to South Korea in early 2004 where I initially began teaching English as a Foreign Language then, beginning in 2006 while living in Seoul, I began to work on my Master of Divinity at Torch Trinity Graduate University majoring in Church Ministry. After finishing my M.Div. I moved into full time pastoral ministry at Seoul International Baptist Church; a mid-sized Southern Baptist church focused on reaching English speaking expatriates in the greater Seoul region.
In September 2012 my family moved to Exeter, UK in order for me to pursue a PhD in New Testament at the University of Exeter where I am working on a dissertation that focuses on the formation of Christian identity and its relationship to the mission of the church as presented in the letter of 1 Peter. We worship with Frontiers Exeter and love the faith community we have there.
